Instructions:

1. Emboss all of the 18” of velvet for the rose with the “Square Border” stamp. (Or use a stamp of your choice).

- Lightly mist the backside of the velvet.

- Place the stamp image, rubber side up on your ironing board.

- Lay fabric right side down against the stamp image.

- Now press the iron to fabric, hold for 10 to 20 seconds and lift up the iron carefully, being careful not to move the fabric. A little trial and error will make you an expert.

- If you have a problem with steam holes showing you may want to buy one our irons with no steam holes.

2. Emboss the leaves onto the green velvet. This time you will spray the velvet and then lay down the fusible web. Cover that with protective paper that comes with the fusible and the iron for 10-20 seconds.

3. Cut another piece of the green velvet out about the size of the leaf. Lay it right side up on the embossed leaf and cover with a piece of brown paper from a grocery bag or a press cloth. Iron for 15 seconds.

4. Cut out the leaves which are look two sided. Leave a little tab at the base of each leaf to secure it at the stem. Set aside.

5. Remove the wire from the ribbon and fold the rose ribbon in half or at least fold down 1⁄4 inch.

6. Take one end of the ribbon with the widest embossed side on the outside. Also keep the wired edge of the ribbon. Begin to wrap around the green florist stick. Continue until all the ribbon is used. Hold the end tightly and use a piece of discarded wire to wrap around the base of the ribbon to secure it in place.

7. Use the green florist tape to cover the bottom and as you wrap around the stick wrap. Attach leaves as you want them and use the little tab to tuck under the green florist tape.
