Retro Pillows
Materials
1/2 yard cotton or linen fabric
1-3/4 yards of piping or fringe trim
1 14" square pillow form
Jacquard fabric paint
Hot Potatoes Rubber Stamps:
Pillow 1 - O445 Atom, F433 Atomic Explosion, J420 Small Dots, C239 Oval Helix
Pillow 2 - K440 Nana Leaf, T426 Line Up, M424 Badda Boom
Steps:
1. Cut 2 14-1/2" squares of cotton fabric
2. Stamp fabric with fabric paint
3. After paint dries, sew piping or fringe around the outside edge of one side, with the piping or fringe facing in.
4. With wrong sides together sew the front of pillow to the back, leaving a 4" opening on one side.
5. Turn fabric right side out
6. Insert pillow form, and slipstitch opening to finish.
